Superior Craftsmanship
Each slider piece is CNC machined from a single piece of stainless steel. The magnet bores are held to very tight tolerances to provide a secure press fit without any adhesives. The final magnet depth is set to .65mm from the top surface using purpose-built jigs and fixtures.
Each side has a different pattern of tool marks: one linear and one spiral. This is by design to provide the best sliding possible, and because it is stainless steel, it will wear for an incredibly long time. The tool mark patterns also add to the visual appeal of the slider.
Excellence by Design
The original Brass Micro was the product of my desire to explore some new (to me anyway) machining approaches and was an instant hit. This newer stainless steel version is due to the many requests we have received to create The Micro in a non-patina metal. We retained the same overall dimensions, but unlike the brass version, we kept the outside smooth to show off the character of the stainless steel.
I must admit to being skeptical about stainless steel as a sliding surface, but I'm a believer now. I wouldn't sell it if I didn't like it, so here's what I like:
- It’s tiny! I can carry the 2-piece in my pocket and not even notice it.
- It rotates in ways 6x2 and 8x2 magnet configurations don't.
- It is fun to play with 2, 3, or 4 slider pieces. But even 4 pieces fits in a cube less than 1" square.
- Unique to the stainless version:
- Stays much cleaner than the brass version
- Makes a different sound than brass... it is more pleasing to me.
- The sides are smooth and untextured, as some have requested.
- For people who have aversions or allergies to brass, problem solved!

I was a little reluctant to purchase these because they are quite expensive but then I sat and thought about how much money I had spent on cheap, plastic, toy fidget sliders that didn’t even hold my attention for more than a day or two. I’ve had these for about a week now and I don’t see myself getting tired of them any time soon. Money well spent!
I can confidently say that I see myself as a dedicated EDC Fidget Addict... Two years ago I ordered my first magnetic slider from Amazon for like 10 bucks, and haven't looked back since... I've sampled a very large variety of Fidgets, and didn't break into the underground "Top Tier" fidget scene until last year... I've spent i dunno how much money on Magnus, Mackey, Yedc.... You name a Brand and I got it trust me... But I can't believe it.... I haven't sat these little guys down since I got them! Total new way of being able to manipulate the pieces and Soooo satisfyingly haptic! Only draw back is the high probability that it will pinch you a couple times a day, but their made so well with the CNC that it doesn't happen often! I highly recommend this product and I'm ordering more as we speak!
This slider set (4 steel) is so much fun to fidget with. The design and machining quality are top quality. These far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend these for the slider enthusiasts out there!

What a unique, awesome little slider! This thing is SO well made, has a great weight and feel to it, and is a small square which in my experience is hard to find out there in the fidget world! I love this slider, I picked it up because it's square and 4 sections. Its different then all of the other rectangle 2 section sliders I own. Excellent weight, magnet strength fit, and finish, very cool!!! If you're on the fence, just do it, you will love it.

I own numerous free floating sliders including many from Magnus that I absolutely love. I’m always on the lookout for new sliders in general and although this isn’t necessarily “new”, I had seen some pics but didn’t think it would be something I would like. However, I kept seeing great reviews from people in different fidget groups so I decided to give it a try and am so glad that I did! First of all, USPS unfortunately lost my original order and when I let BCD know they quickly responded to my email and sent out a replacement. The customer service is top notch! I received the new set a week ago and it has been in my rotation every day since. It’s hard to describe because it’s like a free floating slider but with a lot more ways to manipulate the pieces which on a side note become smoother and smoother with use. I keep discovering new patterns and ways to use the pieces. It’s just so much fun and very satisfying. It’s fairly quiet but you can make the clicks louder depending on how you use it. I got the 4 piece stainless steel set based on many recommendations and it is indeed the best option. If you’re on the fence about getting it you won’t be disappointed!
