Buy It. It’s really worth every cent, other bases are so much smaller and cheaper. This one is large and a crystal clear show piece - gives beginners some room to practice their spinning technique.

great lens for custom wood spin station
Not sure about being concave. Most of the tops I spin walk their way to the edge and fall off. I just need to get better at spinning in the center.
The glass is thick and even larger than I expected. Seems very high quality, and packaging was pretty good. Definitely matched the description and met my expectations.
